Application scope and usage method:
- Used for the production of thin-walled gray iron, gray iron, and vermicular iron castings.
- Product features: Pure chemical composition, high carbon, low sulfur, micro nitrogen, with few harmful impurities.
- Physical form: clean in appearance, without impurities, with a porous structure, fast absorption speed, and high absorption rate.
- Microscopic morphology: Excellent crystallinity and quality, effectively improving the grade and performance of cast iron castings.
- Stable product properties: The carbon increasing effect is stable, the absorption effect is good, the warming effect is obvious, and there is no slag return.
Good inoculation treatment has the following effects:
- Eliminate or reduce the tendency towards white mouth;
- Avoid supercooled tissue;
- Reduce the wall thickness sensitivity of cast iron castings, making the difference in microstructure and hardness between thin and thick sections of the castings small;
- It is conducive to the nucleation of eutectic clusters and increases the number of eutectic clusters;
- Make the morphology of graphite in cast iron mainly small and uniformly distributed A-type graphite, thereby improving the mechanical properties of cast iron；
- Cast iron with good inoculation has good flowability, reduced shrinkage, improved processing performance, and reduced residual stress.
